Give a Gift of Land
The CPC accepts donations of land with natural, cultural, historic, scenic, educational or open space value throughout the Coastal Plain.  Lands donated to the CPC are held in perpetuity for the benefit of natural habitats or cultural resources.

Consider A Conservation Easement For Your Property            

 A conservation easement is a legal agreement between a landowner and a land trust, such as the CPC, where the landowner retains the title to the property, but agrees to limit or prohibit certain kinds of development on the land.  The purpose of the easement is to preserve the natural or cultural character of the land.

Donations are charitable gifts and may be deemed tax deductible by the IRS.
